“I was lying in my bed—too old, too drunk—on a late Friday night, thinking: Where did I go wrong?

You see, I went right on the planned path—started a (pretty successful) career in accounting right after university, climbed up the ladder, and had a fancy title by the age of 31.

I started making significant money, which was accompanied by significant purchases.

I upgraded my car, got a bigger apartment, and bought some electronic gadgets I never used…

But I didn't feel any better. I felt worse.

How could it be?

I wished to make those sums of money, and now I do. So why do I feel so empty?

The rock bottom was in 2017 when I worked so hard at my job that I hadn’t even met my best friend, who lives two blocks away.

I actually cannot recall much from that year… It was all the same. Office-home-office-home. I can’t recall much because I didn’t have any new experiences.

It struck me hard—way too late. I was 31, single, with a big, unchecked bucket list. I felt as though I had betrayed myself.

I had to give this side hustle, passive income stuff a try. I was skeptical but trusted myself. I was smart enough to make it.

So, I signed up—literally—for the first investing course I saw on Google (yep, not much market research). I left my email and phone number. I started feeling a fire in my gut.

A dude called me back. I put in my credit card (initial payment was about $100), and I committed at least 2–3 hours each day.

Fast forward 30 days—I made exactly $219.

Boom. First month of profitability.

A month later, I shrank a bit and only profited about $100.

In the third month, I bounced back to $300 and was pretty steady with $700 each month. I steadily optimized my account to hit $1,500 and even $3,000 in the first year.

So, I packed my stuff and bought a one-way ticket to Spain.

The rest is history…

Honestly, I’m probably an average trader. I just win more times than I lose using a specific algorithm. I’m certainly not the smartest person in the world. I just use smart tools to win more times than I lose and scale.

Simple as that.
